Ginisang Ampalaya Recipe




 INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 pcs. ampalaya (bitter melon), cleaned and thinly sliced
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup pork, cubed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 eggs, beaten (with a dash of salt)
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • msg/ seasoning mix (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil


PROCEDURE:

1. In a bowl, put the ampalaya and sprinkled with 2 tablespoons of salt to lessen the bitter taste. Set aside for 2 minutes, then wash and drain.
1. In a cooking pan, heat oil. Saute pork until golden brown then set aside.
2. On the same cooking pan, saute garlic, onion, tomato, and red bell pepper.
3. Add the pork, ampalaya, and msg. (do not put salt anymore). Mix well. Cook for 3 minutes. Do not cover the pan.
4. Add the eggs, mix occasionally for 3 minutes or until done.
5. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate.
6. Serve, share, and enjoy!
