Nilagang Baboy (Pork Soup) Recipe





INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 kg pork(belly, ribs or shoulder), cubed
  • 1 medium onion, quartered
  • 1 medium cabbage
  • 1 pc. small sayote, cubed
  • 4 ripe banana(saba), sliced
  • 1 pc. medium corn, sliced
  • 1 pc. pork cube
  • water
  • salt to taste
  • msg (optional)


PROCEDURE:

1. Put-in water and pork in a deep cooking pot, let it boil until meat tenders.
2. Add the onion, pork cube, banana, and corn, simmer for 5 mins.
3. Add the sayote, cabbage, simmer for 2 mins.
4. Add salt and msg to a preferred taste. Stir and then cover. Simmer for a minute.
5. Serve hot.
