INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 kg glutinous or sticky rice
- 1/4 kg dark brown sugar
- 2 1/2 coconut milk (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavor/ extract
PROCEDURE
1. Cook rice using rice cooker with less water as to not fully cooked it.
2. While cooking the rice, prepare the rest of the ingredients.
3. On a large pan over medium heat, combine the coconut milk, sugar, and vanilla. Stir and cover.
4. Let it boil in low heat until the mixture thickens.
5. Add the cooked rice and mix well.
6. Mix constantly until the coconut milk and sugar mixture fully evaporates.
7. Transfer to a serving plate.
8. Serve hot.
