INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 kg fish, cleaned
- 5 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 tsp ginger, crushed
- 5 spring onion leaves, halved
- 4 green chili
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 small eggplant, sliced (optional)
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 Tbsp cooking oil
- salt to taste
- msg/seasoning mix (optional)
PROCEDURE:
1. In a large cooking pot, put in the fish.
2. Add the water, vinegar, garlic, onion, ginger, spring onion leaves, green chili, salt, msg/seasoning mix. Bring to a boil.
3. Add the cooking oil. Simmer for 1 min.
4. Add the eggplant, simmer for 2 mins.
5. Adjust the taste according to preference.
6. Remove from heat.
7. Transfer to a serving plate.
8. Serve hot with rice.
